Roughly 19 million students attend around 4,000 US colleges. Each campus is a dense, closed, high-turnover economy where students already buy, sell, resell and hire each other constantly. That activity currently runs through group chats and social swap pages, with no verified identity, no payment protection, and no recourse when something goes wrong.

The missing piece is trust, not demand
Students already transact peer to peer by default. What is missing is not demand, it is trust infrastructure: a way to know the person on the other side is a real student at your school, and a way to move money without either side having to go first.

Why it scales

Veda already recognizes more than 2,300 US campus email domains. Opening a new school is a verification event rather than a local launch, so growth does not require regional staff, warehouses, or a field sales team. Each campus becomes liquid on its own, independent of every other campus, which means the model compounds one school at a time rather than needing national scale to work.
