What happens when you deactivate

Here is exactly what changes the moment your request goes through.

Your storefront, listings and bulletins stop showing to other students right away.

Anything already paid for still needs to be delivered or refunded before the account closes.

Earned points stay on your record but stop growing while the account is deactivated.

Options

If any of these solve it, you keep your history, your reviews and your points.

Most people who leave are really just tired of pings. Notification settings live in the app under your profile.

Business owners can set a storefront to unavailable and keep the account and reviews.

If something broke or a payment looks wrong, we would rather fix it than see you go.

Confirm it is you

Use the same email and password you use in the Veda Campus app. Your password is only used to confirm your identity and is never stored.

Questions

How long does deactivation take?: Requests are reviewed within two business days. You get an email once the account is switched off.
Is this the same as deleting my data?: No. Deactivation hides your account. If you want full deletion, say so in the details box and we will handle it as a deletion request under our privacy policy.
What about money in my wallet?: Available balances are paid out before the account closes. We will email you if anything needs confirming.
Can I use my email again later?: Yes. Your email is freed for a new account once a deletion request is completed.
